Job summary

Farmers Insurance District 04 is expanding its Business Insurance Agent (BIA) initiative, a strategic program to support business insurance production across the district. District 04, a Presidents Council District, offers the opportunity to build a book of business owned by you and scale with agency partners across multiple states.

The BIA operates under the District Manager and collaborates with multiple agents to provide commercial insurance expertise and support district-wide.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Property & Casualty license required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence sales across a team environment.
• Self-motivated, organized, and driven to meet production goals.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Quote and issue Business Insurance policies on behalf of agents within the district via BIE (Business Insurance Express).
• Serve as the go-to commercial insurance expert across multiple agency offices.
• Partner with individual agents to identify commercial opportunities and support them in closing sales.
• Split commission with participating agents as agreed.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and underwriting integrity.
• Stay current on business insurance product offerings, eligibility guidelines, and market trends.
• Recruit/interview and train members of your team and scale as this grows.
• Assist with training and onboarding of agency staff on business insurance best practices.
