Job summary

Farmers Insurance District 04 is expanding its Business Insurance Agent (BIA) initiative to grow commercial insurance production district-wide. You will collaborate with agents, build a book of business you own, and scale the operation with District Office guidance.

We seek licensed professionals with a solid commercial lines background, strong relationship skills, and a servant leadership approach. The role offers flexible earning potential through commission splits and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Active Texas Property & Casualty license required.
• Strong knowledge and background in commercial insurance.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence sales across a team environment.
• Self-motivated, organized, and driven to meet production goals.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Quote and issue Business Insurance policies on behalf of agents within the district via BIE (Business Insurance Express).
• Serve as the go-to commercial insurance expert across multiple agency offices.
• Partner with individual agents to identify commercial opportunities and support them in closing sales.
• Split commission with participating agents as agreed.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and underwriting integrity.
• Stay current on business insurance product offerings, eligibility guidelines, and market trends.
• Recruit/interview and train members of your team and scale as this grows.
• Assist with training and onboarding of agency staff on business insurance best practices.
