Job summary

Kapnick Insurance is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to build long-term relationships with clients and carriers. You will proactively manage services, improve quality, and add value while representing our agency in line with our Core Values.

You will work with the Client Executives and Account Executives to review operations, gather information for new and renewal accounts, and coordinate proposals. A strong client-service mindset and multi-tasking ability are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
• Property & Casualty license preferred.
• Industry designations such as CPCU, CIC, AU, CRM, or equivalent professional designation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client requests by phone, mail, FAX, or email in a timely manner.
• Prepare invoices, close binder billings, apply credits, and manage collections.
• Coordinate proposals and marketing information to assist the CE/AE in writing and renewing accounts.
• Assist in reviewing client operations and risk exposures for new/renewal accounts.
• Maintain carrier relations and ensure smooth onboarding for clients with carriers.
