Kapnick Insurance Group is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to build long-term client and carrier relationships. This role proactively manages client services, billing, and renewals, coordinating with Client Executives and Account Executives to enhance the overall experience and value provided by our agency.

Responsibilities include handling client requests, preparing binders and certificates, reviewing risk exposures, and supporting proposals and carrier negotiations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Property & Casualty license preferred.
• Industry designations such as CPCU/CIC/AU/CRM or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsabilités

• Manage and respond to direct client requests by phone, mail, FAX, or email promptly.
• Create binders, certificates, change requests, and related items per standards.
• Prepare invoices, apply credits, and resolve billing issues; manage agency billings and premium allocations.
• Provide new business orientation and smooth implementation when carriers change.
• Review and update client operations and exposed risks; gather information for new/renewal accounts.
• Prepare proposals and supporting materials for CE to write/renew accounts.
• Coordinate with CE/AE to review marketing options and maintain carrier relations.
