Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager at multiple experience levels to manage a commercial book of business and deliver exceptional client service. A 5+ year insurance background or 3+ years of account management with an active P&C license is required.

You will handle policy administration, renewals, billing support, and maintain strong client relationships while upholding OA policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years of insurance industry experience.
• Active insurance license.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and brokerage operations.
• Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CIC or equivalent designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day client service, support account retention, coordinate policy administration activities and ensure timely service deliverables.
• Renewals: manage expirations and renewal timelines, gather underwriting information and prepare renewal submissions, support marketing and proposal development.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms; ensure accurate documentation and timely task completion.
• Assist with accounts receivable monitoring and collection efforts; resolve billing issues as needed.
• Maintain professional insurance knowledge and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
