Job summary

Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking experienced Commercial Insurance Account Managers to handle an assigned book, provide day‑to‑day client service, and support retention efforts across construction and contractor segments.

We welcome candidates with 5–10+ years of commercial insurance experience and an active P&C license. Positions span Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, and Senior Account Executive paths based on licensing and expertise.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years of insurance industry experience.
• Active insurance license.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and brokerage operations.
• Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CIC or equivalent designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Client Service & Account Administration: Respond to client service requests; process policy changes, endorsements, billing requests, and claims support; conduct coverage analysis; maintain positive client relationships.
• Renewal & Retention Management: Manage policy expirations and renewal timelines; gather underwriting information and prepare renewal submissions; support renewal marketing and proposals; assist with retention initiatives.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms; ensure documentation is accurate; monitor activity and deadlines; follow policies and compliance.
• Financial Management: Assist with accounts receivable monitoring and collection; resolve billing and payment issues.
• Professional Development: Maintain knowledge, participate in improvements, demonstrate client-service excellence.
