Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Manager to deliver proactive client service, renewal management, and seamless policy administration for a construction/contractor book. Role spans Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, and Senior Account Executive tracks.

Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years in commercial insurance with an active P&C license, strong client service skills, and a drive for operational excellence within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years of insurance industry experience.
• Active insurance license.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and brokerage operations.
• Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CIC or equivalent designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client service requests and inquiries.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, billing requests, and claims support.
• Conduct coverage analysis and assist clients with policy-related questions.
• Maintain positive client relationships through responsive service.
• Manage policy expirations and renewal timelines.
• Gather underwriting information and prepare renewal submissions.
• Support renewal marketing efforts and proposal development.
• Assist with account retention initiatives.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure account documentation is accurate and complete.
• Monitor activity and suspense systems to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Assist with accounts receivable monitoring and collection efforts.
• Resolve billing and payment issues as needed.
• Maintain technical insurance knowledge and industry awareness.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate company values and a commitment to client service excellence.
