Tropolis is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage and grow our commercial insurance book with proactive, client-focused service.

The role requires Applied Epic proficiency, 5–7 years of experience in commercial lines, and a P&C license. You will handle renewals, endorsements, and carrier negotiations to deliver tailored coverage.

This full-time position offers a salary of $70,000–$90,000 plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in commercial lines account management.
• Proficiency in Applied Epic is required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial products, coverages, and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Property & Casualty license required; CIC/CPCU/CRM certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for commercial lines clients and maintain strong relationships.
• Manage the full policy lifecycle including renewals, endorsements, audits, and cancellations.
• Assess client risk exposures and recommend coverage options.
• Collaborate with carriers to secure competitive coverage and negotiate terms.
• Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities to meet evolving client needs.
• Coordinate with clients and carriers to resolve claims, billing, and coverage issues.
• Document all client interactions in Applied Epic and maintain records.

We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our Commerce, MI team and play a key role in managing and growing our commercial insurance book of business. This individual will be responsible for providing strategic account management, delivering exceptional client service, and ensuring seamless policy execution. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented insurance professional with a strong background in commercial lines coverage, proficiency in Applied Epic, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial lines clients, developing strong relationships and ensuring their insurance needs are met.
• Handle the full policy lifecycle, including renewals, endorsements, audits, and cancellations.
