DeBra-Kuempel seeks a skilled HVAC/R Service Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, installation, and repair of heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings.

The ideal candidate will diagnose HVAC/R equipment, read schematics and blueprints, and utilize computer-based technology. Strong electrical experience and safety awareness are required; travel to job sites within the servicing territory will be expected.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in HVAC/R mechanic work including installation and maintenance of heating and air conditioning equipment.
• Ability to diagnose, maintain, adjust, repair, and replace HVAC systems and components.
• PC literacy and ability to learn computer-based technology.
• Competent in electrical safety procedures.
• Strong analytical, decision-making and safety-oriented mindset.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heating and cooling equipment per preventive maintenance program.
• Install and startup multiple types of HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC/R systems.
• Communicate with customers about tasks and issues.
• Advise HVAC Service Manager on progress and material needs.
• Order replacement parts as needed.
• Work with electrical components from disconnect to equipment.
• Document hours and tasks accurately.
• Respond to emergency service calls during/after hours.
• Follow SOPs and create/update procedures as needed.
