Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an on-site HVAC service technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems for a diverse commercial customer base, including healthcare and education facilities.

You will work with blueprints, electrical and mechanical layouts, and safety protocols while collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure first-time right outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Typically 5+ years of HVAC experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• No major or frequent violations in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation/repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize work.
• Serve as direct customer contact and manage products/equipment on assigned projects, diagnosing and repairing units.
• Use software and tools, following blueprints or specs, to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Maintain safety standards and manage company assets; willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Support field operations from start to finish, including coordination with internal/external partners.
