Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States seeks an HVAC service technician to commission, troubleshoot, repair and start up HVAC systems in commercial settings. You will collaborate with project teams, read blueprints and follow engineering specs to deliver reliable climate control solutions.

The role requires 5+ years of HVAC experience, a High School diploma (or equivalent), EPA certification, proficiency with MS Office and handheld devices, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Proficiency with handheld devices (smartphone, iPad)
• EPA Certification

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs
• Represent the company as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems
• Use software, technology and hand-tools to diagnose and repair units following blueprints or specs
• Maintain safety standards and manage assets and documentation
• Be flexible to work overtime, weekends and potential overnight stays
