REIC Rentals is seeking a Traveling Commercial HVAC Service Technician to keep our high-performance rental fleet operating safely and efficiently. You will diagnose, repair, and service HVAC equipment in the shop and on customer sites across Montana, with travel required and a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical HVAC/equipment service experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Safety-first mindset in shop and field environments.
• Clear, professional communication with customers and teammates.
• EPA Universal Certification and 3-5 years HVAC/R experience preferred.
• Clean driving record and minimum age of 21.
• Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Flexibility to handle changing daily priorities and seasonal overtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC rental equipment in the shop and at customer job sites.
• Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Provide hands-on customer support and basic equipment operation training.
• Document service work thoroughly using modern service management systems.
• Travel to customer sites and support seasonal overtime demands.
• Maintain a strong safety focus on the road, in the shop, and at customer locations.
