Job summary

REIC Rentals LLC is seeking a safety- and customer-driven traveling Commercial HVAC Service Technician to service our high-performance rental fleet both in the shop and at customer sites across Montana. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain heating, cooling, dehumidification, ventilation, and environmental control equipment, while safely navigating road duties and varying daily priorities.

Excellent communication with customers and teammates is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC rental equipment in the shop and at customer sites
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Provide hands-on customer support and equipment operation training
• Document service work thoroughly using modern service management systems
• Travel to customer sites and support seasonal overtime demands
• Maintain a strong safety focus on the road, in the shop, and at customer locations

What You'll Do

Requirements

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of technical experience in HVAC, equipment service, field maintenance, or related work
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrated safety-first mindset in shop and field environments
• Clear, professional communication skills with customers and teammates
• EPA Universal Certification and 3-5 years of HVAC/R experience strongly preferred
• Clean driving record and minimum age of 21
• Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites
• Flexibility to handle changing daily priorities and seasonal overtime
