Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician for our Denver, CO location. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC rental equipment in the shop and on customer sites, read schematics, and provide hands-on training to customers.

The role emphasizes safety, clear communication, and reliable service, with regional travel to nearby states and overtime opportunities as needed. EPA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC, equipment service, field maintenance, or related work.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC rental equipment in the shop and at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Provide hands-on customer support and basic equipment training.
• Accurately document service work using modern systems.

In this role, you'll serve as a trusted technical expert responsible for keeping our high-performance rental fleet operating at peak performance. From heating and cooling to dehumidification, ventilation, and environmental control equipment, your work ensures our equipment is safe, reliable, and customer-ready-both in the shop and at job sites.

**What You'll Bring**

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC, equipment service, field maintenance, or related work
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Safety-first mindset in both shop and field environments
• Clear and professional communication skills
• EPA Universal Certification (preferred)
• 3--5 years of HVAC/R experience (strongly preferred)
• Clean driving record and minimum age of 21
• Willingness to travel and adapt to changing priorities
