Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking a dependable HVAC Technician to support our Temporary Heating & Air-Conditioning Division. You will deliver, install, service, and pick up temporary AC units, heaters, and ventilation equipment across commercial job sites.

Requirements include a valid driver s license, ability to pass a DOT medical exam, and a safety-first mindset. Prior HVAC or equipment rental experience is a plus, and overtime/flexible scheduling is expected in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with the willingness to learn HVAC equipment.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Availability for overtime and flexible scheduling.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a DOT Medical Exam.
• Comfortable towing and maneuvering trailers.
• Reliable, motivated, and safety-focused.
• Experience in HVAC, construction, or equipment rental is a plus, but not required.
• Must be 21+ yrs of age.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and remove temporary AC units, heaters, and ventilation equipment on customer job sites.
• Safely operate company vehicles including pickup trucks, box trucks, and trailers.
• Perform basic mechanical tasks using common hand tools (pipe wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.).
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting, refueling, cleaning, and preventative maintenance.
• Complete daily safety inspections and required DOT documentation.
• Maintain a strong safety-first mindset in every task.
• Work overtime, early mornings, or late evenings as needed.
• Respond to after‑hours or emergency calls during peak season.
