Job summary

Carrier Enterprise seeks a Commercial Sales Engineer Trainee to support our customers and sales team as a technical advisor. You will assist with quotes, submittals, and product introductions to engineers and contractors, while traveling with the sales team as needed.

This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate and includes comprehensive on-the-job training directly with Carrier Corporation. Relocation to Florida and participation in paid training are part of the program.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Willing to relocate in Florida.
• Ability to attend out of state company paid training.

Responsibilities

• Seeks new business opportunities by responding to sales leads.
• Supports new and existing accounts.
• Introduction of new products to Engineers and Mechanical Contractors.
• Complete quotes, submittals and takes offs based on plan reviews and specifications.
• Follow up on quotes, bids, and submittals to complete the sale.
• Extensive interaction with Engineers, Contractors, Manufacturers, and sales team via phone & e-mail.
• Travel as needed with Sales Team to support presentations and trade show activities.
• Maintain expert level of product knowledge and applications.
• Assist with training as needed to our Commercial customers.
• Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.
• Maintain professional business relationships with target or assigned accounts.
• Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects.
• Identify and communicate customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth.
