Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company is seeking a Field Technical Support Representative to provide commercial HVAC technical advice and training to customers, including distributors and dealers, on the proper application, installation, operation, and service of our products in the Northeast region.

The role is field-based, based near a major US airport, with travel about 50% and the opportunity to coach technicians on best practices, troubleshooting, and new technologies.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years HVAC or industry experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to travel roughly 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier-one escalation support and diagnostic guidance for complex commercial HVAC and building control issues.
• Coach, mentor, and train our customers and HVAC technicians on best practices, safety protocols, installation, troubleshooting, and new technologies.
• Conduct site visits to investigate product failures, manufacturing defects, and to aid in training for customers.
• Act as the technical liaison between customers, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues within the field .
• Perform other duties as required.
