Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician - Commercial Generators in Scottsdale, AZ. You’ll perform maintenance and repair on generator and power distribution equipment and provide technical support to customers on operational aspects.

The role requires substantial field experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to read schematics, work with ATS/Loadbank equipment, and travel to customer sites on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include progressive field experience on generator systems across multiple levels.
• Experience with 500KW+ gensets and ATS/Loadbanking is required for higher levels.
• Strong schematic reading and wiring diagram interpretation.
• Excellent safety, communication, and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to customer sites to perform maintenance.
• Provide 24x7 on-call service as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance per contract.
• Coordinate on-site subcontractors as needed.
• Maintain company tools and vehicle.
• Complete Field Service Reports and time/expense reports.
