Job summary

Shaw Contract in Boston is seeking an Account Executive to partner with architects, designers, and contractors to bring high-quality flooring solutions to life within Boston and Rhode Island.

You will own the sales process from prospecting to closing, travel daily in the territory, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver projects on time. This role requires energetic relationship-building and a consultative approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in commercial interiors, flooring, architecture or design is preferred.
• Ability to prospect, develop new business, and build a robust pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, designers, dealers, and contractors to match design criteria with Shaw products.
• Travel daily across the Boston/Rhode Island territory to support customers and grow business.
• Manage projects from opportunity to order, including tracking and installation coordination.
• Develop new business by identifying underserved accounts and expanding Shaw Contract's presence.
• Present products and solutions in meetings, group sessions, and customer events.
• Maintain CRM data for opportunities, pipeline, and activities.
• Build trusted relationships and act as a consultative resource for clients.
• Partner with sales colleagues to cover A&D, dealer, and end-user channels.
• Follow up on leads from industry resources, referrals and events.
• Engage with industry groups like IIDA, IFMA, BOMA, or NAFCA.
• Must reside in MA or RI; travel within territory required.
• Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented sales environment.
