Job summary

Madison Energy Group seeks a Commercial Energy Advisor to manage the client relationship from initial conversation through installed project. This consultative sales role identifies facilities with recoverable energy spend, secures data, presents engineered proposals to owners, and stays with the account through installation and verification.

Compensation is commission-based on closed revenue with overrides on referred Advisor production.

Qualifications

• Prior B2B or outside sales experience
• Comfort presenting to owners and operators
• Ability to endure a long-cycle capital sale
• Technical energy background helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop commercial accounts across hospitality, retail, food service, and education sectors.
• Coordinate site surveys and submetering to base proposals on measured data.
• Present engineered proposals with financial justifications (payback, incentives, depreciation).
• Register and manage opportunities through close, install, and acceptance.
• Recruit and develop additional Advisors and manage overrides.
