Job summary

Facilities Maintenance Management, LLC. (FMM) seeks motivated Electricians to join our team for commercial construction projects in Louisiana.

Responsibilities include servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing electrical components while complying with local codes and safety standards. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in the electrical trade, familiarity with NEC, and ability to read blueprints, with a focus on quality, teamwork, and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the electrical trade.
• Must have knowledge of safety rules and regulations and learn client and company policy.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions using FMM's core values of Quality, Teamwork, Integrity, Safety and Versatility
• Proficient in computer, text, and email skills
• Proficient in using power tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Experience working with high voltage and low voltage systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles and concepts
• Ability to build and install electrical systems in commercial and residential settings.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Basic knowledge of frame carpentry for installation purposes

Responsibilities

• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures per job specifications and local codes.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Test electrical systems or circuits to ensure safety and compatibility using testing devices.
• Use power tools and testing equipment in daily work.
• Inspect electrical systems and components for hazards, defects, or required adjustments.
• Install and connect wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and diagrams.
• Collaborate with other trades to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain safety compliance and a clean work area.
