Job summary

Midwest Drywall Co Inc, headquartered in Wichita, KS, seeks a Commercial Drywall Project Manager to lead framing and drywall projects nationwide. You will coordinate with superintendents, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety across job sites.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of construction PM experience, knowledge of light gauge framing, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office. Travel to multiple sites is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of light gauge framing and drywall.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel between jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction and leadership for an entire project with the Project Superintendent.
• Build, collaborate, and maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Lead safety culture and mentor others to promote safe practices on site.
• Support preconstruction activities including quantity takeoff, trade coordination and scope development.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for project challenges.
• Monitor costs relative to budget and communicate variances to improve financial performance.
