Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Commercial Driver to provide transportation for materials and people, delivering safe, timely service with a high standard of customer care. This role is part of the Workplace Experience function, supporting building clients and visitors.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1-2 years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license. Expect physical tasks, log keeping, and occasional minor vehicle repairs as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to fulfill the physical requirements including lifting heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
  • Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Basic math skills to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups.
  • Excellent communication skills for exchanging straightforward information.

Responsibilities

  • Provide transportation and customer service to office personnel, visitors, and clients.
  • Keep travel logs and service records as required.
  • Maintain a clean vehicle and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Respond to inquiries or complaints from clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
  • Follow defined procedures and processes under supervision.
  • Train and mentor peers on duties and procedures.
  • Perform miscellaneous errands as needed.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Commercial Driver, you will provide transportation services for materials and individuals as requested by thebusiness. This includes ensuring timely and safedelivery to specified locations while maintaining a highstandard of customer service. This job is part of the Workplace Experience function. They are responsible for providing world-class customerservice to the clients and visitors of a designated building.

Provide world-class transportation andcustomer service to office personnel, visitors, and clients Keep travel logsand service records as required Maintain a clean vehicle and perform minorrepairs as needed Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients,co-workers, and/or supervisors Follow basic work routines andstandards in the application of work Use existing procedures to solve straight forwardproblems with limited opportunity to exercise discretion Impactthrough clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks described indetail Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes underclose supervision and guidance Use communicationskills to exchange straightforward information Train and mentor new and current peers on duties and procedures Perform miscellaneous errands as needed.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the [Commercial Driver (Non-CDL) Swing Shift] position is $24.00 and the maximum salary for the [Commercial Driver ( Non-CDL) – Swing Shift] position is $27.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
