Job summary

DuraServ is seeking experienced field technicians to diagnose with precision, install with pride, and own the outcome. You’ll work independently on commercial dock and door systems, troubleshoot to root causes, and ensure uptime for our customers’ facilities.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on welding, hydraulics, or electrical experience, a valid driver's license, and a proven record of delivering safe, quality work on schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver’s license; daily field travel to customer sites.
• Ability to meet physical demands: outdoor fieldwork, frequent ladder use, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent; trade certificate valued.
• Hands-on experience with welding, mechanical systems, hydraulics, or electrical work; 3+ years in dock/door systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain commercial dock and door equipment to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose root causes with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting; read manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Document service activity with parts used and recommendations for future maintenance.
• Maintain a safe job site and comply with OSHA policies; communicate status to customers.
• Collaborate on larger installations and adapt to changing schedules.
