Job summary

Envestnet is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to support contract management across procurement, vendor services, IT and technology agreements. You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts, NDAs, and related documents, partnering with business teams and in-house counsel to mitigate risk and align with corporate policy.

You will manage approvals, monitor deadlines, and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives while ensuring compliance with laws and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of a state bar.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills.
• Ability to understand business needs and requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and support across all phases of the contract management lifecycle.
• Work with business partners and in-house legal counsel to write, analyze and respond to proposals, negotiate contract terms and mitigate risk.
• Maintain records of existing and past contracts and manage NDA workflow.
• Lead drafting, management and negotiation of vendor services agreements, including IT and technology contracts.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and cross-functional teams to advance enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.
