Job summary

Edgewood Properties in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Project Manager Assistant based out of South Plainfield. The role supports the commercial division, coordinating site activities, scheduling manpower, and assisting the Construction Supervisor to keep projects on schedule.

You will prepare material take-offs, order equipment, and communicate with subcontractors and state inspectors to ensure work complies with permit drawings and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Organized and detail oriented with strong administrative skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Good at following directions and reporting progress clearly.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass drug and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support Commercial Division as a Project Manager Assistant.
• Assist and oversee construction of commercial fit-ups.
• Schedule manpower required on field projects.
• Coordinate with Construction Supervisor to keep on schedule.
• Do material take-offs, schedule equipment and order materials.
• Communicate with subcontractors and state for inspections.
• Ensure work performed according to permit drawings and on-site needs.
