Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a on-site Project Associate in New Jersey to support project managers across commercial and educational building projects. The role requires collaboration with owners, investors and occupants, with site work in Mt. Arlington, Totowa, or Woodcliff Lake locations.

The position emphasizes handling multiple tasks, schedules, and deliverables, using MS Office, PM software, and BlueBeam, while ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in building design/construction, architecture, and/or engineering.
• Prior experience with owner's representation projects preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to multi-task and manage schedules.
• Fluent English in written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with complex building projects from start to finish to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Build relationships and execute tasks with energy and passion.
• Understand the project management processes used by architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Support scheduling, logistics, cost, quality, and change orders for multiple stakeholders.
• Review documents, budgets, schedules, contracts, and proposals for conformance to goals.
• Monitor documents using Microsoft Office, project management software, and BlueBeam.
