Our expanding Owner’s Representative firm is seeking a talented Project Manager/Estimator with a minimum of 5 years’ Commercial Construction experience to join our team. Experience in new building and alterations is required. Our firm specializes in large-scale commercial projects and is not involved in single-family residential construction. The successful candidate will ensure projects are coordinated and completed safely, on time, efficiently, effectively, and profitably. The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of project assignments, including interactions with clients and their representatives. Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential.

The Project Manager must prepare construction project budgets and oversee all projects assigned to them. They will work with internal teams to manage budgets, contracts, change orders, OAC meetings, schedules, and serve as the main point of contact for clients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Represent the company when dealing with existing clients.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously at various stages and complexities.
• Oversee and coordinate design development from schematic design to 100% CDs, including development of project scopes of work.
• Develop and review project budgets through SD, DD, and CD stages.
• Develop scope and prepare bid documents.
• Produce bid analysis and recommend award letters.
• Read and understand blueprints of varying complexity.
• Work effectively on independent projects and within the construction team, including assisting with permitting to ensure all permits are secured.
• Maintain strong documentation and communication to uphold service standards.
• Maintain organized and updated job files.
• Manage day-to-day project activities.
• Review all design drawings.
• Collaborate closely with the project coordinator and site team.
• Keep accurate budget tracking and document all changes throughout the project.
• Perform on-site inspections to assess quality of work, materials, safety, and progress.
• Create and maintain project schedules.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5 years of commercial estimating and/or project management experience.
• Relevant experience in the New York metropolitan area.
• Four-year college degree preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Project.
• Experience with field management software such as Procore is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of building codes and OSHA requirements.
