Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically four years of relevant experience in claims.
• Must obtain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire.
• CNA Claim Training program may be considered after 2 years.
• Professional designations (e.g. CPCU) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages moderate to high complexity commercial claims following protocols.
• Investigates, verifies coverage and reserves, and negotiates settlements.
• Maintains timely updates and professional communication with insureds.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities and partners with experts as needed.
• Ensures compliance with state/local regulations and company guidelines.
• Mentors less experienced claim professionals when applicable.
