Job summary

Genesee & Wyoming Railroad Services, Inc. (GRSI) in Mesa, AZ seeks a Manager, Commercial Services to lead a Billing analytics team, oversee invoicing, pricing applications, and revenue control while aligning with railroad industry accounting rules.

You will partner with field Sales and Operations, drive process improvements, mentor staff, and ensure accurate month-end closes, timely revenue reporting, and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, analytics, or related field, or equivalent railroad experience.
• Three to five years of applicable experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with pricing, tariffs, contracts, or commercial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Commercial Billing team to ensure complete, accurate invoicing.
• Identify pricing opportunities, approve month-end closing documents, and ensure timely revenue reporting.
• Collaborate with field sales and operations to support proposals and renewals.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and billing accuracy.
