Job summary

Truist is seeking an experienced Commercial Relationship Manager in Valdosta, GA to identify, develop and grow profitable relationships with business clients generating $5MM to $75MM in annual sales.

You will manage an assigned book, negotiate credit and deposit solutions, and work with Industry & Advisory teams to deliver an optimal client experience. Strong communication and CRM discipline are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years working experience or equivalent education and related training
• One year related experience in banking or financial services
• Basic understanding of credit and finance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

Responsibilities

• Identify, solicit, develop, manage, service, retain and grow commercial client relationships.
• Manage an assigned commercial banking book and grow new households.
• Contribute to credit decisioning, including analysis of financial statements and underwriting.
• Proactively expand relationships using Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) principles.
• Maintain CRM data, monitor sales activity and pipeline.
• Adhere to risk, policy and quality expectations for the client portfolio.
