Job summary

SOUTHERN SECURITY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION is seeking a Commercial Banking Assistant to provide administrative, operational, and relationship support to the Commercial Banking Department. The role aids lenders and relationship managers with loan documentation, deposits, and treasury services, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance.

The candidate will demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven banking

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of two years in banking, commercial lending, treasury management, or related financial services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and organized commercial loan files.
• Ensure loan documentation and closing requirements are completed within established timelines.
• Maintain current tracking of maturities, financial statements, insurance, collateral documentation, and portfolio requirements.
• Provide timely support for loan committee presentations, closings, and portfolio reviews.
• Complete commercial deposit and treasury management implementation requirements accurately and within service standards.
• Maintain accurate account and customer information and respond to requests promptly.
