Job summary

HomeTrust Bank is seeking a Commercial Banking Associate to support Regional/Market Presidents, Commercial Relationship Managers, and commercial customers with loans, deposits, online banking, and treasury management services. This role coordinates deposit account openings and construction loan administration, and maintains the Commercial Loan Process system for the RMs they support.

You will review loan files for accuracy, assist with credit approval packages, and help manage day-to-day

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related business field preferred.
• 0 to 2 years of commercial or business banking experience.
• Ability to process work accurately and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of bank products and services in commercial lending.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains electronic commercial relationship files.
• Manages Commercial Loan Process system (CLP) for prospects and applications.
• Coordinates deposit account opening and online banking onboarding.
• Reviews loan files for accuracy including CIP, OFAC, and insurance.
• Supports Relationship Managers with portfolio management and credit packages.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to regulatory requirements.
• Completes mandatory compliance training annually.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
