Job summary

Bridgewater Bank in Bloomington, MN is seeking an experienced Commercial Banking Associate Lead to supervise a team within the Lending group. You will oversee Commercial Banking Associate staff, ensure loan documentation and servicing tasks align with bank policies and regulatory requirements, and support assigned bankers to serve clients efficiently.

This role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, staff development, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of Commercial and Consumer loan processing and/or documentation experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, team building, and management skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and knowledge of rules, regulations and policies relating to loan documentation and servicing
• Knowledge of Fiserv and Premier platform preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in the functions of the Commercial Banking Associate area including supporting an assigned bankers.
• Formulate processes and procedures ensuring staff follow them.
• Manage projects that impact the Commercial Banking Associate area and communicate changes across the department.
• Maintain knowledge of banking and lending rules and regulations and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Manage development of Commercial Banking Associates with performance reviews and training needs.
• Mentor and train new staff; review closings for new team members.
• Monitor workload and assist with overflow of work.
• Collaborate with other Department Team Leads to improve processes.
