Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Washington, DC is seeking a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to identify, solicit, and expand a portfolio of mid-market clients with $5M-$75M in annual sales. You will deliver comprehensive loan, deposit, and fee-based services.

You will work with Industry & Advisory teams to tailor solutions, participate in IRM-driven prospects, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring credit and risk policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience or equivalent education
• One year related experience in banking or financial services
• Basic understanding of credit and finance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Proficiency with computer applications, including MS Office

Responsibilities

• Identify, solicit, develop and grow long-term commercial relationships for mid-market clients.
• Provide loan, deposit and fee-based services to existing and prospective clients.
• Coordinate with Industry & Advisory teams to deliver optimal client experiences.
• Refer client needs through Integrated Relationship Management (IRM).
• Support credit decisioning and risk mitigation in line with policies.
• Maintain CRM data, pipeline, and pursue new production revenue.
