Job summary

Wesco in Pittsburgh is seeking an Analyst - Commercial Analytics to translate Commercial Excellence strategy into actionable initiatives. You will measure performance, maintain portfolio visibility, and support execution with data-driven insights.

You will build Power BI dashboards, analyze trends, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive meaningful commercial outcomes. This role emphasizes finance, data, and agile delivery in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s in Finance, Stats, IS, Marketing, or Math preferred.
• 2 years of data analysis experience.
• 1 year with relational databases (AWS, Teradata, MS SQL Server, Azure, MS Access).
• Experience with CRM systems and Power BI/Tableau is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports showing initiative health, progress, value realization, risks, dependencies, and decisions.
• Create a consolidated view of initiatives, capabilities, epics, products, milestones, owners, dependencies, and outcomes.
• Analyze performance trends to distinguish progress, adoption, and impact; identify opportunities.
• Identify off-track initiatives and recommend corrective actions.
• Help teams remove impediments and escalate barriers outside team authority.
• Follow up with owners, surface missed commitments, and propose options.
• Conduct research to support Commercial Excellence decisions with actionable insights.
• Support cross-functional initiatives with data, analysis, and insights.
• Collaborate with analysts on reporting, analysis, and portfolio initiatives.
