Job summary

Megaport is seeking a Commercial Analytics Leader to bridge commercial leadership with data, analytics, and data science capabilities. The role will drive trusted data, analytics, and business strategy for sales motions and revenue optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial analytics, revenue analytics, or business intelligence.
• Proven ability to translate data into executive-level recommendations.
• Experience designing governed metrics and scalable reporting architectures.
• Strong understanding of B2B revenue operations, CRM data, and forecast management.
• Proficiency with SQL and Power BI; familiarity with Python or R.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the commercial analytics strategy, roadmap, and standards across brands, regions, and motions.
• Own the RevOps reporting framework and governance, including metric definitions and calculation rules.
• Collaborate with RevTech, Data Engineering, Finance, and other stakeholders to validate logic and resolve data gaps.
• Translate data outputs into concise narratives for Sales and GTM Leadership and support business reviews.
• Analyze performance across acquisition, pipeline, expansion, renewals, and revenue motions; identify drivers and opportunities.
• Partner with Data Science to enable AI-powered decision intelligence with governance safeguards.
• Develop governed self-service analytics embedded in workflows; establish literacy and access standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional governance to improve data models and instrumentation.
