Job summary

Starcom in the United States is seeking an Associate Director of Commerce to lead paid search and display strategies with a focus on retail media and marketplace advertising. You will guide client conversations, shape strategy, and oversee performance while hands-on in platform execution when needed.

The role requires strong leadership, deep commerce media expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment while aligning media strategies with client business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred in marketing, advertising, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience in commerce media or digital advertising.
• 2+ years of team management experience.
• Strong client management and independent leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of integrated Search and Display media strategies with emphasis on Paid Search.
• Act as SME across retail media platforms, especially Amazon Ads and Chewy.
• Drive campaign performance via optimization, budget management, forecasting, and reporting.
• Provide leadership to Search, DSP, and Analyst teams and ensure high-quality execution.
