Job summary

LSI is seeking a Plant Manager in Columbus, Ohio to lead daily manufacturing operations and drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost control. The role requires strong leadership across Production, Materials, Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance in a high‑mix electronics environment.

The ideal candidate balances customer requirements with engineering changes, while fostering Continuous Improvement, accountability, and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, materials management, quality systems, engineering support, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working within an ISO 9001-certified environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety practices.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs, cost management, and financial performance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct all manufacturing activities to meet customer requirements and production schedules.
• Monitor daily production performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks to improve throughput and efficiency.
• Optimize labor, equipment utilization, floor space, and capacity.
• Establish and manage operational performance metrics and KPIs.
• Drive improvements in productivity, throughput, and labor efficiency.
• Support NPI and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service to support programs.
• Maintain ISO 9001 compliance and drive continuous improvement.
