Job summary

LSI in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a Plant Manager to lead all manufacturing operations across electronics, PCB assembly, and contract manufacturing. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while aligning production, planning, quality, and maintenance with corporate strategy.

The role requires strong leadership in high‑mix, low‑ to mid-volume environments, ISO 9001 compliance, and a proven track record in continuous improvement, Lean/Six Sigma, and capital planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in manufacturing/engineering/operations or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, materials management, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working within an ISO 9001-certified environment.
• OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety practices knowledge.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs, cost management, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Direct all manufacturing activities to meet customer requirements and production schedules.
• Monitor daily production performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Identify and eliminate bottlenecks to improve throughput and efficiency.
• Lead safety, quality, delivery, and cost initiatives across facilities.
• Support NPI and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to optimize performance.
• Manage plant operating expenses within approved budgets.
