Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Service Manager in Columbus, OH to lead field service operations, manager technicians, and optimize dispatch. The role emphasizes safety, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence in a growing, PE-backed organization.

You will drive frontline leadership, staffing decisions, and performance metrics while collaborating with branch leadership to meet service goals and revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a field service environment.
• Experience managing technicians or trades staff.
• Strong dispatch, scheduling, and workforce planning.
• Customer-facing experience with escalations and service issues.
• Experience tracking technician productivity, labor hours, and KPIs.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and field-service safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Directly lead, coach, and develop field service technicians
• Oversee daily service operations, dispatch, scheduling, and technician assignments
• Monitor technician productivity, utilization, labor hours, and service KPIs
• Ensure service calls are completed safely, efficiently, and to customer expectations
• Coordinate with customers to understand service needs and resolve escalations
• Track and report service activity and documentation in FSM software
