Qualifications

• 5–8 years of business development, client development, or marketing experience in the AEC industry.
• Established professional network within the Columbus commercial construction market.
• Strong understanding of the commercial construction industry and local market trends.
• Experience with RFQ/RFP responses, proposal development, and client presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to grow Independence Construction's presence and market share throughout Central Ohio.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new project opportunities across commercial markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, brokers, and other partners.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.
• Lead RFQ/RFP, proposal, and interview processes with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities, tracking progress toward goals.
