Job summary

Lehman Daman Construction Services, Inc. seeks a Business Development Representative to grow relationships with owners, developers, and industry partners across Central Ohio.

You will identify qualified opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research, while coordinating with internal teams to advance pursuits. The role requires 5+ years in business development or related fields, strong communication, and a proactive, results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, construction, real estate, facilities, architecture, engineering, or related industry.
• Established network of relevant industry contacts that can generate qualified leads.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships, identify client needs, and develop new business opportunities.
• Strong communication, active listening, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Local market knowledge in commercial construction or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, developers, facility leaders, architects, engineers, and industry contacts.
• Generate qualified construction, renovation, and service opportunities through networking and client meetings.
• Conduct discovery to understand client needs, budgets, schedules, and decision-makers.
• Maintain accurate opportunity, contact, and activity information in CRM.
• Coordinate with leadership to develop relationship plans and advance opportunities.
• Support client meetings, site visits, and events; help transition opportunities into active pursuits.
• Collaborate with marketing, preconstruction, operations, and service teams.
• Provide regular updates on pipeline activity and market trends.
• Represent Lehman Daman in line with company values.
