Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in the United States is hiring a Wind Hub Technician to support multiple wind sites within the hub.

The role requires local travel to project sites and focuses on turbine operations, safety, quality control, and warranty repair work, working closely with site leadership to meet contract requirements and timelines. You will diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, document work, and coordinate with GE’s remote operations center as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Wind Technician, or minimum of 4 years of related experience including hydraulic, electrical work and use of basic power hydraulic tools.

Responsibilities

• Work with site & hub leadership to meet customer requirements and daily activities on GE wind turbine equipment.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Assist in all site operations with safety as a priority and minimal supervision.
• Perform diagnostic electrical analysis and document findings.
• Document work using service reporting and coordinate with GE's remote operations center.
