Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Wind Technician to support turbine operations at the wind site. The role requires local travel within the hub, performing maintenance, repair, and diagnostic work to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

You will work with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract obligations, adhere to safety standards, document work, and coordinate with GE’s remote operations center as needed. Relocation assistance may be offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or higher in a technical field.
• 1+ year wind technician experience or completed wind certificate program/associates degree.
• 2 years electrical work experience.
• Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Work with site leadership to meet customer requirements and daily activities related to GE wind turbine equipment.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to fix malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on turbines.
• Assist site operations with safety and supervision as directed.
• Document work using service reporting procedures and coordinate with GE’s remote operations center as needed.
