Job summary

Weyerhaeuser in Colorado is seeking a Dealer Sales Representative I to develop, maintain, and grow dealer and buyer relationships with key customers in the Rocky Mountain distribution area. This outside sales role will own the relationships and coordinate strategies to deliver superior value and profitability while promoting a full range of building products.

You will join an integrated local sales team, travel as needed, and participate in promotions, pricing updates, and service improvements

Qualifications

Proven success supporting large and complex accounts, building key customer relationships.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with building materials products and familiarity with related promotions and selling features.

Responsibilities

Establishes, cultivates, and protects the dealer relationship and buyer relationship with assigned customers.
Coordinates customer strategies for value delivery, wallet-share growth, and profitability.
Uses market knowledge to seek opportunities with new and existing customers for Distribution's full range of products.
Gathers market intelligence and translates it into input to drive decisions on product mix, pricing, inventory levels and demand outlook.
Develops and executes marketing and communication plans with customers, including promotions, market pull‑through activities, and updates to products/pricing/service.
Some overnight travel and evening customer event participation is required
