Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company is seeking a Store Sales Associate to join our US Commercial team in Utah. You will help customers in a fast-paced retail environment, recommend products, match colors, process orders, and deliver outstanding service.

Reporting to the Store Manager, the role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong communication. You will handle in-store tasks, assist with suppliers, and support sales goals while maintaining a clean, organized store.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license required; background check and physical may apply.
• Customer service experience preferred with a team-focused approach.
• Strong communication; professional with customers.
• Able to use computer/keyboard for order processing and support.
• Willingness to work scheduled hours, including flexibility based on business needs.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 40–60 pounds routinely; standing etc.
• Ability to operate a hand truck and/or material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending products and solutions.
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing.
• Mix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specifications.
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processes.
• Process customer orders and payments through phone, in-person, online, and email channels.
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to achieving store sales goals.
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle.
• Resolve customer concerns and elevate issues when needed.
• Safely handle, load, unload, and organize products for stocking and order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Support daily store operations and team priorities as needed.
