Madison Reed Hair Color Bar is seeking a Hair Color Bar Assistant, licensed cosmetologist, to support Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead, providing a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure as you learn the services and work toward your next role. You love beauty and hair color and pride yourself on helping guests select the best color and executing services with perfection.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state where applying.
• Entry level experience in any customer service or retail environment; salon/beauty industry preferred.
• Effective communication, problem solving and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver a guest experience aligned with values.
• Assist behind-the-chair services: shampooing, conditioning, styling, blowouts, toner, add-on products.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and KPIs (retail, services, memberships).
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security at the Hair Color Bar.
• Adhere to Madison Reed systems, policies, processes and procedures.
• Drive revenue by increasing average service ticket and selling memberships and subscriptions.
• Support Colorist training to grow within Madison Reed.
