The Hair Color Bar Assistant at Madison Reed Hair Color Bar supports Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead to provide a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure as you learn the services and work towards your next role. You love beauty and hair color, and you pride yourself on helping guests find the best color for them and executing their service with perfection.

This role is in training for promotion to Licensed Colorist, reports to the Manager, and may be full or part time depending on

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state you are applying.
• Entry level experience in any customer service or retail sales environment; salon or beauty industry experience preferred.
• Effective communication, strong problem solving and people skills, in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to provide a guest experience aligned with our values.
• Assist in behind-the-chair services: shampooing, conditioning, styling, blowouts, and color-related services.
• Support monthly sales goals and KPIs including retail, services, and memberships.
• Ensure the Hair Color Bar meets cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security standards.
• Adhere to Madison Reed systems, policies, processes and procedures.
• Promote revenue through higher service tickets and memberships.
• Support training to grow towards Licensed Colorist.
• Learn color theory and behind-the-chair application skills to progress within Madison Reed.
