Gerber Collision & Glass in Newberg, Oregon, seeks an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer service by meticulously assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and ensure repairs meet speed, quality, and customer-excellence KPIs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair, and the ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program completion or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair vehicle sections.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass, interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, then repaint to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
